Pricing

Priced around the authority you need to earn.

No two companies have the same story, competitive set, or media opportunity — so we don't sell one-size packages. Every engagement is scoped around your goals, your audience, the campaigns required, and the outcomes the program is meant to move. Here's where engagements land, what drives the number, and what the first 90 days look like.

Engagement model
Enterprise retainers · monthly or quarterly · scoped per client.
Where programs land
Ongoing programs generally run $10–25k/month; enterprise scopes above that. Campaigns are project-scoped.
Typical commitment
6- or 12-month retainers — digital PR rewards consistency.
Proposal turnaround
Written scope and proposal within one week of the strategy call.

Pricing inquiries route to a senior strategist directly. We'll book a strategy call first — after it, qualified prospects receive a written scope and proposal within one week.

What you're not paying for

  • No pay-for-placement

Coverage is earned on editorial merit through direct relationships with reporters. Bought placements don't survive an editor's audit — or Google's.

  • No sponsored content as earned media

If something is paid, it's labeled paid. We never present a sponsored slot as an editorial win in a report.

  • No hidden fees

The proposal carries the whole number. Scope changes are an explicit conversation before any work or invoice moves.

  • No junior account handoffs

The senior strategist who scopes your program stays on it — through outreach, reporting, and quarterly planning.

Engagement models

Three ways engagements are shaped.

Not packages — models. Each one gets scoped to your goals on the strategy call, and the ranges below are where most engagements of that shape land. The proposal you receive afterward carries the actual number.

Scoping

What determines your investment.

Custom pricing shouldn't feel arbitrary. These are the variables that actually move a proposal number — the strategy call is where we work out where you sit on each one.

  1. 01Campaigns per quarter
  2. 02Original research or survey work
  3. 03Executives being positioned
  4. 04Industries and geographic markets
  5. 05Media tiers you're targeting
  6. 06Reactive / breaking-news coverage
  7. 07Bylined content volume
  8. 08Podcast and broadcast outreach
  9. 09Reputation and crisis complexity
  10. 10Reporting and attribution depth
  11. 11Legal and compliance review cycles
  12. 12Speed — how compressed the calendar is

Deliverables vs. outcomes

What we commit to, and what we target.

Editors decide what runs — nobody can contract for that. So your proposal separates the work we're accountable for from the outcomes that work is aimed at, and reporting tracks both.

We commit to

The work.

  • Campaign strategy and narrative development
  • Original research, surveys, and data analysis
  • Media list building and journalist outreach
  • Bylined content production
  • Reactive monitoring and expert-response pitching
  • Podcast and broadcast outreach
  • Monthly reporting and quarterly campaign planning
  • A senior strategist on the account start to finish

We target

The outcomes.

  • Earned placements in named target outlets
  • Authoritative referring domains
  • Brand mentions and share of voice
  • Referral traffic from coverage
  • Citations in AI answers and assistants
  • Branded search growth
  • Pipeline influence

Onboarding

What the first 90 days look like.

Digital PR compounds, which means the first quarter is about building the narrative engine — not spraying a press release and hoping. Here's the shape of it on a standard ongoing program.

  1. Weeks 1–2

    Authority and media research

Executive interviews, competitive narrative analysis, media mapping, and a ranked list of campaign opportunities.

  2. Weeks 3–4

    Campaign development

Angle and narrative development, data analysis, asset production, and the target outlet strategy for the first campaign.

  3. Month 2

    Outreach begins

Journalist outreach on the lead campaign, reactive opportunities as stories break, and the first bylines placed.

  4. Month 3

    Optimize and expand

Read the response, refine the angles that worked, chase follow-on coverage, and deliver the first full authority report.

Fit

Who this is built for.

We'd rather you rule us out on this page than on a call. If the right-hand column describes you, we'll say so on the call and point you somewhere better.

Likely a fit when

You're building authority.

  • You have a differentiated product, expertise, or proprietary dataset
  • Leadership is available for interviews and commentary
  • You value earned credibility over purchased coverage
  • You can commit to sustained execution, not a one-month test
  • You want PR connected to search, authority, or revenue goals

Probably not when

You need something else.

  • You need guaranteed placements in named publications
  • You're looking for press-release distribution only
  • You need immediate lead volume — that's a paid-traffic job
  • Leadership and subject-matter experts can't be made available
  • You want a one-month visibility experiment

Pricing questions

How engagements get scoped.

  • Why don't you publish flat-rate tiers?
Flat-rate packages force very different companies into the same scope. Enterprise PR for a Series C SaaS company looks nothing like reputation work for a $2B fund or coverage support for a publicly-listed brand — so we price around campaign strategy, markets, deliverables, and outcomes instead of selling identical bundles. What we do publish is where engagements land: ongoing programs generally run $10–25k per month, enterprise scopes above that, and focused campaigns are project-scoped.
  • What counts as "enterprise" here?
It's about the engagement, not your headcount. We treat a program as enterprise when it spans multiple business units or spokespeople, runs across several industries or geographic markets, involves regulated-industry or legal review, or integrates PR with search and reputation work under one plan. A growth-stage company can absolutely have an enterprise-shaped need; a large company might only need a focused campaign.
  • What does a typical retainer look like?
Enterprise retainers, billed monthly or quarterly, scoped to a defined set of deliverables (placements pursued per quarter, original research, bylined columns, podcast tours, monthly reporting). Most clients run 6- or 12-month engagements because the flywheel takes time to spin.
  • Do you guarantee placements?
No — and be careful with anyone who does, because a guaranteed placement is almost always a paid one. Editors decide what runs. We commit to the work that earns coverage (research, narrative development, outreach, bylines, reactive pitching, reporting) and we target the outcomes it produces (placements, referring domains, mentions, AI citations, branded search). Your proposal states both, and reporting tracks both.
  • How is scope defined?
On the strategy call we'll walk through your goals, target outlets, current state, and competitive narrative. Within a week of the call you'll have a written proposal with included deliverables, target outcomes, a quarterly campaign calendar, and the investment. No surprise fees, no scope creep without an explicit conversation.
  • Is there a minimum engagement?
We typically run 6-month minimums on full retainers because digital PR rewards consistency — short engagements don't give the flywheel time to spin. For specific projects (a single campaign, a launch sprint, a crisis response) we'll scope a one-off engagement.
  • Do you offer white-label or agency partner pricing?
Yes. We run white-label and co-branded engagements for agencies — see /white-label for the model. Partner pricing is also enterprise-retainer-based, scoped to your client mix.
  • What about crisis or short-term reputation work?
Available case-by-case. Mention it in the form (or email [email protected] with subject "URGENT") and we'll respond same-day during business hours.
